Personal haiku web site. and Paper Journal of haikus
A few years back I published my first book of poetry, Innards of a Pinata. It's taken 10 years to fill another book, which I plan to publish within the next month. This book of poetry is called A Life in the Key of Tragic Consumption.
I am also in the middle of writing 2 other books. One is a memoir done in short story style. The other book is, I guess, another form of memoir but specificly focuses on the women I've had...all the exploits, I suppose.
My plan after that is to compile all my music writing including the interviews I've done with big-named rock stars [Johnette Napolitano, Courtney Love, Exene, Linda Perry] and the not so big named rock stars.
I'm working on my first novell. A story based on an experience of me, but put in a fiction story.
This interview.
Poetry, a short novel, and am bringing a children's book back to life that I started a few years ago.
Professional writing - pulling together pieces I plan to submit to magazines.
Poetry is ongoing.
A fiction story called "In the Eyes of Kings"
I am writing a 90-day devotional for women going through a separation who want to reunite with their husbands, for women who feel alone in their marriage and want to glorify God in the hard times.
Learning book marketing. I also write articles for websites and primarily my blogs. After I will establish my book marketing routine in place, I will have time to start researching about my next project which I am very excited about.
The Abcedrian System is a magical, ceremonial and meditation system that combines the traditional seven planets with the American English Alphabet.
Two days ago I started my seventh story, this one being about a Commando raid into Northern France just after D-Day. It is going well and should be ready for publication on my web blog by the weekend. My blog can be found at floroy1942.wordpress.com
Techniques for preparing grounds for oil painting.
70 years of unpublished diaries: 1887-1957, perhaps 5-6 million words in all with inserts of letters, programmes, menus, everything. I am transcribing, researching, editing and writing the first book on them, which is micro-history of Victorian childhood and Victorian/Ewardian young girlhood/womanhood. I am the only person other than the diariest to have read them and they are of national importance. I have nearly finished abridging and updating for a paperback version 'A Stranger in Blood', my first book.
I am working on a second book of stories, songs, and reflections on christian life, and am doing a CD of songs from my first book: The Gate of Beautiful.
I am working towards another collection for publication. I am enjoying the experience and look forward to the future with determination and optimism. |
