I just finished a third novel, to be published earlier 2011, The Forever Christ: Birth of a New World. It's a positive reglious science fiction work and the third of a trilogy, titled: The Christ Trilogy. The second of the trilogy, The Suffering Christ: The Dark Reprisal is schedule to be release in August of this year, 2010.
I'm in the process of pre-editing a adult fictional murder mystery that takes place in Palm Beach, Florida, titled: The Castle Club. It's approx 90,000 words and I am considering making a series from it.
I'm approx half through a young adult fanasy, titled: Dream Flight. It's theme is about two young fourteen year olds, a boy and a girl, who after being struck by lightning, have the same dream when sleeping; a dream in which they can fly without wings, traveling together to different lands in search of a peridot gem which unlocks the gate to the seventh and final land. With each land they journey to they encounter different beings. Yes, there is an evil mage in the story who tries to stop them. | | |
Well, I am currently working on a series called "Physiognomy" .
I'm working on a story called 'The Not So Secret Life of Helena Callahan.' But, it is mainly for fun, and is a short story following a character from another one of my books. Helena isn't a main character in my other stories, but I thought she was exciting enough to get a short story of her own.
Description:
The Not So Secret Life of Helena Callahan, follows a troubled teen, who ran away from home and sells herself for a living. But her not so average life is about to get even more bizarre when she meets a strange guy, who gives her a little more then she bargained for.
Right now I'm working on a supernatural/fantasy series for teenagers, called "My Guardian Demon." I'm also constantly writing short stories and drabbles, but those are mostly just for fun.
I will be going to India in September 2010 to take photos to illustrate the history of "Rajput" which was published earlier this year and also connect with those teachers who want to use my English Method in schools to teach English as a Second Language. I realize I will not be making any money on this and all proceeds in the selling of my work in India will go to a fund for the promotion of the English Language in India. I have been asked to work on other Indian projects and am taking everything that comes along in my stride. I am however looking looking forward to going back to writing “Romance” for which I was admonished when I was a member of a Religious Order, that the writing of such, was not the sign of a vocation. I am working on a special project... but don't believe in breaking the spell by spilling the beans beforehand.
Two novels, one of which requires consultation with a solicitor to refine details on the ending; I know how I want it to end (after a court case), but I'm not sure how the characters would get there. The other one is more difficult because it has heavy elements of political satire, but the characters are mercilessly mocking all viewpoints and each other.
And getting that first novel published.
poetry, 3 children's books, some poetry turned into picture books, a screenplay, several short stories, a few scenes for a local theatre company and a novel.
I am working on a book for emotional healing
Several new short stories and a blog novel hi-tech adventure story written in blog form: http://marperl.blogspot.com/.
Finishing the one that got away!
A book
Blogs ongoing. Two friends have asked me to contribute to their blog sites. A third book which I'm reviewing currently and a novel in the back of my head which hasn't fully surfaced yet!
Earlier this year, I started work on a humorous memoir and still work on it here and there. I'm researching a sequel to my last book as well though it's a slow process. I have another nonfiction project on my mind I hope to start piecing together over the next couple of years as well. Then there are some short story ideas and shelved storylines I'm considering going back to when time permits.
I'm working on a devotional. It started as a compilation of favorite blogs, those most commented on. But devotionals call for shorter entries than does a blog, and they also have a somewhat different format, so it's taking longer than I'd like or that I'd thought it would take. I'm enjoying it though.
I'm also playing with a novel. I sure hope my hero doesn't end up like my high school heroine, although it's not looking good for him right now. My problem is I'm not sure if he's a hero or a villian. My novelist friends tell me to keep writing and let him tell me who he is. Maybe I'm afraid to find out!
I am currently working on part two of Transformations:Give Up The Struggle. The sequel will have stories and affirmations illustrating how people got through their storms. |
