I have a book of my collected poetry, a non-fiction book and a couple of other fiction projects. Not sure which one will hit first.
My collected works.
A kids' TV show, and my own drama spec scripts.
The other books of the trilogy.
A series of bilingual adventure books of two little children called Matthew and Emma, which we will do initially in French, Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese but hopefully in lots more languages too!
As I have only just been published, I have taken off my "writing" hat for a moment and replaced it with a "marketing/sales" hat. I have reviews and author interviews planned.
Otherwise, I have started my sequel. I have plotted the entire story out and have written up to chapter 4.
I'm working on a book based in my 15,300 mile roadtrip to Alaska and Canada last summer. Here's the query:
GET OFF YOUR ASPHALT: REAL-LIFE ADVENTURES IN THE WORLD OF GRAVEL ROADS, non-fiction Travel / Adventure, 80-100,000 words plus photos
You don’t have to be rich, famous, crazy or young to add meaning and adventure to your life. You just have to get off your asphalt, be open to what happens, and the rest will take care of itself.
At the age of 65, I and my dog Ginger undertook a 15,000 mile road-trip through northern Canada and Alaska. Two months later I had met many extraordinary people with even more extraordinary stories. GET OFF YOUR ASPHALT tells these folks’ stories and my own. Think Travels with Charlie meets Coming Into The Country (McPhee).
GET OFF YOUR ASPHALT speaks to armchair travelers and real-life adventurers alike. Baby Boomers, RV owners, photographers, and nature-lovers are all likely readers. And for a cool state, Alaska is very, very hot right now in terms of public interest.
Memoirs of my life in the world of entertainment
A gay novel where different men tell stories that have affected their lives.
I am working on my second book "the voice within", it is about sometimes needing to listen to the voice within to accomplish your dreams and also about NOT listening to the nagging voice within.
Both aspects are very important and have both been positive and negative in my life.
I'm working on a group facilitation manual to go with my Christian recovery book titled "Follow The Solid Rock Road: Pathway to Radical Recovery."
I'm also working on a novel called Mashburn Hill.
I’ve most recently written a chapter for Angels: Winged Whispers –True Stories from Angel Experts around the World. Though this is a book about angels, when the time came to write my chapter, it became clear that I had stories to tell not just about angels, but about working with animals and faeries as well. They all play an equally important role in my spiritual life, so I wrote about all three.
I’m working on several new writing projects. One is a chapter for the forthcoming book Planet Whispers: True Stories from Soul Travelers around the World to be published by Soul Wings® Press in late 2011. Another is a much longer work. Like many authors, I usually don’t like to discuss my current work in progress. It allows the magic to escape prematurely. I’d rather write first then talk about it later
Currently working on the 2nd Installment for the Nobody's Fool Series which is Nobody's Fool: Tangled Web. This will be released on Black Friday 11-25-11. Follow me on my Twitter and FB for more info.
