Nothing much. I'm taking a break. Sometimes I have a reading binge and I am getting set up for that.
Editing and proofing previously written books for publication. SING OF LOVE is almost ready to be sent to a USA publisher to be uploaded on Amazon.com.
Many and various projects. See my blog at http://spinningpearls.blogspot.com/ for up to date information.
I am working on a coffee table book, and three other non fiction books at the moment. These are in the draft stage. I have one book completed and awaiting a publisher to pick up. I have ideas for approximately 14 books so far, and am sure that if I can pick up a publisher, then all of these books, and possibly more, will come to fruition.
I am working on a Fantasy/Fiction story, along the same sort of lines as the "Lord of the Rings" & "Dragonlance" series.
3 novels, 1 fantasy 2 science fiction
am working with TV drama ,novels and poems
An actress has asked me to write a monologue specifically for her, to showcase her talents, but it's still on the "to do" list. I haven't had the inspiration, nor the time or discipline, to sit down and start nutting something out. But I'll get to it eventually.
the alchemical arcanum and the journey of the tarot, and a fictional work on merlin
Two possibilities one about a hotel and one for Christmas.
A murder mystery - Lilac Stories - a small rural town with two women murdered - the priest raises lilacs and he wonders - is his flock like the lilac bushes he so loves to cultivate - will one withered and discoloured petal destroy the whole bloom? Can the Dublin detectives get to the bottom on this close knit society - or is the pressure from above protecting one of the villagers by putting the blame on a dead man. And so the story goes - and so I write on.
I'm working on a novel about an octogenarian hermaphrodite; a collection of short stories about "relationship dyads"; and a collection of poetry on my Italian peasant parents.
I've spent most of the past year working on a contemporary fantasy novel based on some of my recent travels in Europe. Unfortunately, I may have to set it aside for a while as I focus on nonfiction in order to make some immediate money.
Currently the sequel to 'The Enchanted Forests' set in Africa; the dynasty lives on and promises monsters, myths and splendid adventure. There are lots of surprises, and with all my books a touch of sadness, a bit of seriousness but lot's of adventure and fun too. You won't want to miss this one!
Currently, I am actively working on two short stories, a novel, and a non-fiction book on leading people in the business world.
The first short story, "Life and Death," is actually evolving into a longer piece, possibly even a novel. It is the story of a young US Army veteran, Brady Kelly, who is attending college in Alaska as a music major. As a short story, the piece is as close to done as it will ever be (I am always tinkering and refining the story to come out closer to perfect, knowing I can never tell a story perfectly).
The second short story, "Love Stinks," is the tale of a young couple from troubled childhoods who come together to make a life. The twists are in place and are very effective but I'm still working on the ending so that I capture it properly.
The novel, "Dead Drunk," is about halfway completed and simply cries out for my attention to finish telling the story.
Finally, the non-fiction piece is called, "Get Your Own Syrup." It describes many of the personality types a manager or supervisor will encounter in the work place and how to guide them toward maximum effectiveness and efficiency in producing.
