What are you working on now?
A contemporary erotic vampire novel which Black Lace is currently expressing an interest in. Because the world needs more vampire novels, doesn't it? Mine is in the form of a string of short stories, with a shared background, that link to make the overarching plot. It's challenging and lots of fun to write. I just have to keep reminding the vampires to play nice.
I've just finished what is hopefully the last major rewrite of THIRTEEN YEARS LATER, so there'll be the proofs to look at on that, but other than that, I'm resting for a few months before I start book three.

hmmm... a couple of short stories, and a play i'm rather pleased with at the moment. what an amazing way to create, working at becoming a playwright.

Currently I am working on various topics,like India in Pre-independence era,reincarnation,today's complicated life,human feelings..etc etc.
I've almost finished the second book in The Westward Sagas. Adam's Daughters will be coming out in a few months, then I'll begin Book 3: Rebeckah.

Fiction wise I am editing a short story for a competition.
I am also editing an online ezine for the Writers Bureau, the 4th edition is just been published. Unfortunately only online to WB students.
Promoting blogs and a friends new book.
I'm currently working on a somewhat dark and bloody mystery/suspense novel titled "Hollow Point." I hope this will be the first book in a series.
I am in the final stages of completing my second novel...
I am also working on my first screenplay...

The book for "Rainbow Cabaret" a new musical with music by Duke Rightious. In order to form a rainbow and pass on to the other side 7 people have to figure out their issues and come together.
I am about to start on the first book of the spin-off series which is a version for the younger set with teenage characters.
Finishing the prequel to my first children's story. Almost there!
I'm always working on several projects at a time -- I have a Generation X-er's fleeting attention span, so I hop from one to the next and back. Currently I find myself most obsessed with a high-fantasy thing about pirates and princes, politics and geography. Building the world is so much fun! I'm also working on the first volume of a mystery series set in the Old West -- on the Oregon Trail, to be specific. And a theatrical play called "Armageddon Days Are Here Again" (named after a song by The The). Also a modern-day fantasy/horror thing about four characters who are embodiments of the Four Elements. On the back burner are more stories set in the Racing History universe and a couple of fantasies in an Asian/MiddleEastern setting.
I am in the process of having my first book, "Second Chance", published. I have completed a second manuscript and am working on the third. This third novel has been the most difficult thus far. I'm not sure if its the nature of the story, or because I am also in the midst of publishing the first book. |
