What sites do you frequent on-line to share experiences or information?
I like Agent Query. I think one must be very careful about online critiques and online writing groups, because writing is subjective and there is a lot of opinion out there and advice that may not be helpful.

I don't, I have friends I email who also write, but that's about it. When I'm writing the only thing I use the net for is reference. One great website is alanbrown.com though, for kids.
Well, wikipedia is my best friend, but not to share information, just to keep myself informed. When I need (seldom, very seldom) to find out other people's opinions, I access My Space and a few other sites like this.
I scan for blogs and am the member of several yahoo groups. I frequent a yahoo group with fellow authors to share and support each other.

I have a facebook under a different name so that I can keep in touch with those who are very close to me. I have a myspace that’s under my real name. Other than that I use my own sites and blogs.

I admit it -- I am a Facebook addict. I love staying in touch with my friends and family and seeing what is going on in their lives. I have several other authors that I keep track of and in touch with through Facebook as well. I created a Fan Group, Fans of Peter West, in Facebook as a place to share experiences and information with my readers and other authors. It is also a place for them to easily contact me. In addition, I created fan pages for "Author Peter West" and "Peter West" in Facebook for readers that want to become fans.
