Do you share rough drafts of your writings with someone whose opinion you trust?
My writers' group who are very experienced.
Yes, several different if possible.
No I don't.
What I did though is read the introduction to 3 people that mean a lot to me to see if I could write and captivate the reader.
My husband reads my material.

Yes, once in a while i share rough drafts of my work with close friends of mine just to get their opinion, especially when i get writers block or i feel i'm going totally off in the write up.

I share my rough drafts of all my writings with my wife Linda. She is an excellent proofreader, as well as making quite valuable suggestions as to plot, character development, dialogue, etc. Linda is an avid reader and understands what makes writing good.
No, I don't. I'll share the "finished product" with someone I trust, and I'll often make some changes based on their comments. But rough drafts are for my eyes only.
Always, even just my friends, its amazing how their different genders and personalities pick up different aspects of the story.
I do. I have an inhouse editor who helps me with my copywriting, and my kids get to read all my drafts for my short stories. If I ventured into novel writing, I would definitely join a writers club.
Yes! Those you trust most are the ones that are most honest with you. If you cant handle the honest truth, you probably shouldn't put something out there for people to have an opinion on anyways.
My wife, who is also an author. I also bounce ideas off other fellow authors.
