Do you share rough drafts of your writings with someone whose opinion you trust?
Occasionally. I don't go in for pre-reading all that much.
There are really no rough drafts. I keep almost everything I write...good or bad and find a place for it. Plus I am a little shy when it comes to my writing, I may share a paragraph or two but thats about it.
Yes. They are always rough before I get them back from my Beta
All of the readers I mentioned - I do trust them! I also tell them not to talk about the book to anybody. Sometimes I give them to people I've known for years; sometimes to people I've just met. I think I pick up on vibes when they're trustworthy. I also copyright them as soon as I give them out, so...so much for trusting! Naw, it's just a business thang.

I have several individuals with whom I share my writing to gather more diverse feedback.
I am in constant need of a watchful eye especially because my brain works so much fast than I can write or type so whatever I write, and surely evidenced here, I am the poster child for typos, missing words, even problems with grammar and punctuation, so I need a good second pair of eyes. In terms of feedback on the content of what I write there is a small circle of trusted and respected friends I will show drafts to.
Often times I do. It depends on who it is I am showing and what state the material is in. I hate first drafts because mine are ALWAYS lousy.

Yes. I have one or two trusted people whose opinions are invaluable to me. Each of them has helped, in some way or another, bring my work back from the dead on several occasions.
Rarely. If ever. Occasionally I would share new pages of a work with members of my writing class...mainly for their own edification.
