Do you participate in competitions? Have you received any awards?
Very rarely. I'm trying to be more active, though. I haven't received an award, probably because I never seek for it.
I rarely submit anything in writing competitions. I have won some poetry competitions and have resolved to enter more in the future!
I don't usually, but I did back in high school and I won first place in a poetry compitition.

No, i have not participated in competitions. I don't like comparing my writing to others. I prefer that it be assessed on its own.
Writers should never compete, that to me sounds like something writers shouldnt do, and money what writer really needs money? Writing is supposed to be from another world, I dont know if our writings deserve money
One of the first steps on the road to become a poet, was winning a competition in a festivale of folk song and poetry. I seldom participate in any competitions now, but I have got some awards in Norway, yes.

Nope. Getting published is the best kind of award.
Yes. I am massively competitive. I have received many fanfiction awards, but none yet for original fiction. There is always hope, right? |
