Deep down inside, who do you write for?
Anyone who can be helped in how they live their lives by what God has given me to send along. And, of course, I certainly hope that I please God, as well, by not inserting too much of me into what He gives me to write.
I write to please myself and believe that this will also attract an audience.
Myself and no one else. Why work to please everyone and leave yourself unhappy?
My writing is all about connecting with the end user. At the start of every piece it is important to establish a "mood" style which has to relate to the market you are writing for. To know your audience and their needs is paramount to writing.

Deep down inside, I write for me. How so? I like to entertain people, see their reactions, and their reactions please me. I believe there's a philosophy behind the intentions of even the most true-hearted individual. No matter what we do, we always, essentially, do it for our own gratification.
Myself.
I write for me. I feel that my writing is the only thing I really own, it's the only thing that has ever allowed me to explore who I am, what I think and feel.
First I write to myself, then there are always someone who likes to read my stories and finally I would like to share those with everybody.
I write in order to share the deepest parts of me with my readers. All of my stories are a very important part of me and they fulfill my belief in full self expression.
If I can take my readers to a place that they would normally not be exposed to then I derive great pleasure from that.
I write because I have to. I write to vent - to channel my justifiable anger at the exploitation of mothers and commodification of their children - and to educate.
I write for me. There are times when something is just busting to get out, can't seem to hold it in. Other times, I can shake the tree for days or weeks, nothing. I want people to enjoy what I write, but I won't change my style nor my beliefs to accommodate anyone else.
Right now, at this point in my life, I write for others. As a freelance writer, I write for pay in a number of ways. Freelance articles on spec, articles on demand for a flat rate, and articles to generate ad revenue. To be effective in all these activities means catering to what others want written. One day (hopefully in the near future), I'll write for me again. I'll return to a more "creative" type of writing that is based in pure fiction. (I love a good lie!)

Deep down, i write for myself. These are my feelings & my thoughts that somehow are disconnected from me until they "magically" appear on the paper by the fluid movements my hand makes as I play the keyboard like a piano or strokes of the pen like a painter would a brush full of color.
