Deep down inside, who do you write for?
I write for me and for the people who have yet to realize they can follow their dreams.
Truthfully-myself! Hopefully others will enjoy what I right, but deep down inside I must write!
Myself... And for that someone who needs it the most, now. and hope I can make a difference in someone's life by sharing what I know. My experience.
Like most writers, I do write for my own benefit a lot. But the true audience is the world. it might sound cliche but there is no set audience. If I can inspire one person to think differently or learn something new, even explore their world more, it doesn't matter who they are or where they're from. Gay or straight, young or old.
I write for my children. I only have one daughter and son-in-law, but I'm hoping for grandchildren some day! I guess what I really mean is I'm writing for another generation, mostly.
I believe every new generation should be better off than the previous one. We all learn from experience, but Heaven help us if we can only learn that way! We're all better off if we can learn from someone else's experience and share in someone else's understanding. I feel like we need to leave something behind for them, so that they can start out knowing what it took us years to learn.
I write for myself as well as for my readers. My passion is for writing books that will inspire people to change their lives for the better. I want them to refer to my books over and over and find good ways to apply the points I have made to their everyday lives.
Myself. Which is why I am flirting into the world of blogging, I feel that if I can get one person to like what I say in a post. Then they will one day like my book.
We write specifically for Canadians who are interested in saving money and helping the environment, but we feel that many of our tips and suggestions can be used by anyone.
Fun. And if it ever stops being fun, I'll stop writing.
I write primarily for myself, to let my feelings and emotions work their way out to the surface. I have not had much experience writing specifically for other people yet.
I write for me, because I enjoy it. I write because I have these characters running around in my head with a story to tell. I write and hope what I have written one day makes me money so I can put more time into telling those stories.
Myself. I currently have two stories on the market, only these two and they were published within the last year although they've been completed for seven. I have several dozen others complete, but the experiences my stories are based on are my own life experiences, so it's a question of whether I want to put "myself" out there, although readers wouldn't necessarily be aware of this fact.
I write because I like to see my characters have their stories told. It gives them a rest in their clamouring inside my head, as it were.
I write for myself. Sometimes I also imagine some of the people I admire most reading my work and admiring me just as much as I admire them.
