No, but I can. I find it forced and rehearsed and disingenuous. Like most stand-up comedy. Kinda sad. Ask me to tell a joke and I'll start crying. Let me entertain you, and you will start crying. Uncontrollably.
No. I write better than I talk, because I have the chance to stop and think, to go back and change things, and to take as long as I like to finish. You can't do much of that when you're talking.
I suck at telling stories out loud!
I've been told I am a good story teller. Equally, I don't know.
100% yes...even better orally. I have also performed stand-up.
I think so.
Not as good,
N/A for poetry. I can recite a lot of poems from rote/memory if that counts (LOL).
Well, I tell stories to my brothers and sisters every night before they go to bed so I believe I am good at it because they donít seem to bore.
I don't know. I have never before given a public reading, since I am writing most of the time and selling my books at shows. I can read well since I have had drama in high school, so the opportunity has to come at some point.
No. I do much better writing stories when I have time to think about the details and edit roughly drawn verbal sketches. I failed the oral exam for my psychology license but my written appeal resulted in my receiving a license. Then I knew I could write better than talk.
Better. Because I use different voices when I tell a story.
