I was an actor and have a flair for dramatics. In fact it was my flair for telling stories orally that forced me to try to emulate that gift into my writing.
The power I have within lies in the written word, as I express what is contained within me. It does bleed over to the oral realm, wherein I use words skillfully like a sword, that cut those swiftly who come against me. But when I speak, I look carefully at what I am saying as I say them, and put my heart and soul in communicating what lies within. In sharing a thought, story, or idea, I give what is honest, and right.
"Words have the power of life or death in them. They can create and uplift life, or destroy them both. Skillful usage and application is necessary in wisdom and understanding." .....Jon C. Randall
I'm getting better, touring around my town to local day cares it's a lot of fun. Went to a private pool club for the ages of 3 on up about 25 kids looked the way I read. So you could say I love to hear the children laugh & giggle over a book or story that I wrote.
It has now become my most important issue now.
Trying to get out too more places to read, and wanting more time on T.V, and Radio interviews. Been on CNN Comcast Spot Light in 2005 T.V interview 5 Min., GlobalTalkRadio 2005, and Blogtalk radio based in Texas in 2008.
I'm also happy to have a book signing at Clayton books, and they have 2 of my books now.
Thank you Mr.Joel Harris.
I'm always trying to find more places to read.
I'm setting up another event at Family First after School Program to read to Kindergarten thru 3rd grade, I'm waiting till Jan.7th, as school resumes then. and they'll give me date then.
I can spin a yarn when it needs to be spun. I actually got a group of people to form a "Save The Naugha Group" to save the last of the wild Naugha herds from over hunting by the evil Chemical Companies who were using their skins to make Naugha Hyde. I'm thinking of trying to form another such group to fence off a few thousand acres at the foot of Mount Perry, Florida's only snow capped mountain.
I probably could be but reading a story I would not be in front of a group but on a mike could be since I can do crazy things on mike I would feel most uncomfortable doing in front of people. I do some funny jokes and adlib puns with others and do not feel I am retarded in this area when surrounded my many.
Yes! I love to speak!
No. Yes. Only if it's something I know very well or really happened.
Yes, I hope so...people seem to like them.
I tend to digress a bit sometimes, I think, and repeat a tale to the same audience, but guess I do okay.
I like to tell stories, and I think I'm a pretty good story teller. Equally good? I'm not sure about that.
