No. I have telling stories orally. I don't sound true.

Yes! If I can get the courage to tell larger groups or have a more intimate setting with fewer people, then I love telling stories (an people like hearing them).
For about four months I did part-time work for a public library as an in-school storyteller. My colleagues and I had to learn fairytales
or folk tales and present them to classes of kids from 3 to 13 years old. THAT was a fantastic experience!

Nah because my speaking voice is very monotone and nasal so I end up putting people to sleep or boring the hell out of my audience.

NO. There's a reason why I'm a southern bell writer instead of some down-south, backwoods, 70-something nondescript old man in a rocking chair spinning yarns in an Appalachian drawl about some stupid bass I caught by myself on lake Whodawhata but then lost because it was too strong for me to hold the line or some weird thing like that. I don't even fish!!

If I have an idea of what I want to tell people then its pretty good not great though. If I have no Idea what I am going to say then I suck. I am not even gonna try and hide it.

I am currently in the process of recording all of my books as audiobooks. I have already completed fifteen of my twenty-five novels, and the reviews have been great, but the resulting soundtracks are not off-the-cuff oral presentations. Editing allows me to present a much better oration than if it was delivered live, but I think in general the answer is yes.
Storytelling is a specialized field. Yes, I can tell oral stories, but I must have the right environment. Most aspects of modern life aren't suitable for storytelling because most people are too busy being distract by their cell phone, or thinking about what they want for dinner, or complaining about work. Not many people are willing to sit still and listen to a story.
