I like to think so.
No I am rubbish at telling stories orally. I will stick to pen and paper thank you.
the truth is Yes, i love to tell speak stories. is easy to me and comes naturally
If I don't rush myself, and include the details in the right order. I sometimes get so excited in telling a story, I'll have to go back and add a detail. Fortunately, when writing fiction, nobody sees that. They only see the finished product.
To a certain degree. I could probably dictate a story to someone so they can write it down for me.
At times yes.
I can better write than tell stories, that's for sure. With writing you don't have to face anybody and you're in your own world where literally everything can happen. When speaking with a real person you have to hold his concentration which is a lot harder.
I believe so. I used to tell stories all the time. I have two that are pretty much 100% told orally--they don't translate well to the written page.
Probably better because you can digress without losing the audience.
I'm not bad... um, I think.
Oh yeah. I talk with my hands, make faces, do voices, etc.
Yes, I am.
No I have never been a great story teller
Writing screenplays means rewriting it over and over again. Orally I can't retell a story so I'm guessing I'm better on paper. Although my listeners always seem excited so I must also have some abilities in telling stories orally.
