What is your favourite type of customer?
One that brings some idea(s) to the table, but is willing to learn and be stretched outside of the box in their thinking and way of communication. I like someone who is able to communicate and willing to discuss the project without micromanaging it.
Also, a client that can visualize is great because they can see the big picture.
I love every customer! I try my hardest to make that person happy. I love someone that has open communication as well. This is key to a successful transaction.
Design wise my favorite type of customer is someone who already has an idea of what they're looking for and all I need to do is design. But I also write copy, do graphic work, etc., and am down for the challenge either way!
Someone who knows what they want. Someone who is very flexible and open-minded.
A customer with a dream. And from experience, I tend to like the enlightend visionary leadertype. Preferably avant-garde, with sustainable tendency.
One that allows the designer to do his job effectively. Being given the brief as where they want to go, but also allowing room to enable the designer to be creative with the work achieving the best results.
Someone open-minded, with a good sense of humour. Flexible, but still knows what they want, and doesn't change their mind too much.
My favorite customers are the "Custom Requester" - ha ha...

The boss. I like idea people. I don't like committees. I don't like wasting time with viziers, let me talk to the Sultan.

My favorite type of customer is the one who approaches you to work with them because they already are in love with your work. My ideal customer gives you ideas to what they are looking for, and then let's you explore different creative avenues to give them the best possible design outcome.
