What is your favourite type of customer?
The one who understand, or at least, respects the work of a designer, so is willing to pay the fair price and listen your arguments about your work.
We are blessed that all of our currently clients share the same philosophy that we do. It was a process in getting there as for a while we were looking to "pay bills" over looking out for "partnership builders".
We look for clients/customers that understand that design is not a 'nickel-and-dime-bean-counter-commodity' but an art form and a process for ensuring that the clients brand is protected, promoted and revered.
If we are working with clients who's first question is, "How much is this going to cost?" we pretty much have an understanding where their mind is when it comes to design.
A client who is seeking a design partner, as well as a designer who will educate them about how to use the web. We aren't thrilled with clients who do not wish to be involved in the design process since the project seems so impersonal. We work with a lot of sole proprietorships and companies who have never had a web presence before they met us. We love to help our customers get their feet wet, then jump in and really swim!
The customer who buys special pieces and wears them to death. You know they loved it and wore it until it couldn't be worn again. That's the greatest compliment.
All customers are my favourite, they teach me daily about how many ways a design can be worn and all the wonderful places that they will live in.

The kind that will work with me. We don't have to agree on everything, but even getting content at times can seem like pulling teeth. When I started out I had many clients that would want a website, but didn't know what they wanted on it. I like customers that know what they want and are willing to let me help them get there.
one who knows what they want and is decisive. Also one that pays on time lol.
A client that has a clear understanding of what they want to communicate and has done ample research on the product or service.
The ones who's eyes light up when they realize that everything I create was made from used materials. Whether they purchase or not, I just love that moment of conversation.
We love customers who trust us enough to give us authority to "do what we please" within a specific budget. That way, we can just let the creativity flow from us to create a truely unique peice.
