What is your favourite type of customer?
I like when a customer write me a personal note, and I respond with a personal note, and then we're friends. The people who follow my blog also become my customers, and they leave me the best feedback. I know exactly who I'm shopping for or designing for, because I can interact with them directly.
We love all of our lovely customers, but we especially appreciate those who come up with new ideas and present our products in ways we haven't thought about before. It's kind of like a creative community that generates a lot of positive outcomes.

My favorite kind of customer gives Carte blanche, that usually is not the case though.
One who understands that design is not about decoration and beautification. The best clients see design thinking as a versatile tool that can help them solve their business problems in a variety of forms—how they interact with their audience, how they structure their business, how their products work, and yes, how their website or logo might look.
I am constantly looking for clients who understand that they are better off when they address their broad brand challenges holistically—and who trusts us to be a collaborative partner with them in tackling them.
A customer that is willing to be pushed in a direction of diverse excellence.
One who trusts my judgement and lets me do my thing. One who I can easily talk to and be open and honest with. One who I can joke around with. One who responds quickly and prefers emails vs. phone calls. For me, it's all about a connection. You have to enjoy the people you work with and I try to create lasting relationships with our clients.
I would have to say any customer at all with out customers you are nothing

The enthusiastic ones that love what you do. And they appreciate every bit of it.

The type that is committed to their design project.
I like people who are open minded and down to earth. I love working with people who "get" how design works and appreciate all that goes into it.
