What is your favourite type of customer?
I like passionate clients. I think it can be infectious. I like clients that don't try tell me how to do my job, but give enough inspiration about their challenge and mission to let me evolve something personal for them.
An appreciative one! One that lets me run with my creativity; trusts me to answer their needs; pays promptly; respects my time and energy; is fun and enjoyable to work with; has ongoing projects or refers others.
I enjoy working with people that know what they want. It's much easier to cater to a person's request if they can offer direction. Ultimately, this saves time and lessens the amount of changes needed.
All customers are my favorite.
The ones that like my art
The one that trust you and come for your style.
Honest ones. If the design is not producing the desired results then you need to hear this at concept stage - not when the printer is screaming for artwork and the deadline is three days over.
The intelligent one
someone from the same age group
The one that says, "Do whatever you think best. You're the professional."
One that is open-minded.
One who gives me creative freedom.
Customer who respects design and all creative professions.
One who knows what they want but are willing to give me the creative freedom to make it happen and make it look good.
The ones that know what they want but give me the creative freedom to collaborate with them. Also the ones that pay on time :) |
