What is your favorite genre? Can you provide a link to a site where we can read some of your work or learn something about it?

Whohub

I love reading science fiction, fantasy, and horror novels. I tend to write the former two, as my mind will lean towards them quickly. Fantasy is an escape for me and science fiction helps me see the world in the ways it could be. Fantasy books have such a cornucopia of possibilities in shaping and modeling a world you want to see it. I do have a blog on Blogspot that I will start an idea I had for a weekly post as an on-going story. The content warning is so no one is offended should any substance abuse occurs, which may, but I do not know, or cursing, etc. This is the link- http://solitaryman92.blogspot.com/

I'm not sure I have a favourite genre. I write across genres, and am awed by other writers who can do that successfully. The only genre that doesn't appeal much to me is the self-help book category.

Some of my non-fiction can be found on my blog: http://www.anniezaidi.com

Favorite things to read: Creative works that make me think about life in new ways. More often than not these are usually indie books. That is, books published by non-mainstream, independent publishers.

Favourite Genre depends on how I feel at the time. To limit oneself to one genre is to miss the pure magic of the writing/reading and the process behind it.

My favorite genres are thriller/suspense, courtroom thriller, mystery, Sci-Fi, Historical Fantasy and literary fiction. The book I am writing now is a cross between thriller, Sci-Fi and Historical Fantasy. We'll see who publishes it and I will let them lable my book however they decide. I write on Newsvine as PJ Stuart, Blogger as Pj Stuart Speaks and PJ Stuart Speaks Some More and Tumblr, again as PJ Stuart. I would love to have you discover my work. The blogs I participate in lack fiction. I believe I have just one short story published and two poems; I do not consider myself a poet. Poetry allows my creativity to flow. I use my poems as a way to open my mind and as an exercise to get my creative juices flowing.

I write essays, mostly on current political questions, among those topics: the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the economy, the relationship between "change we can believe in" and ordinary folks. I write poetry, both personal and political. I write stories about street encounters and family interactions. I post many of these on my blog, In and Out with Jeff, at:

I am not sure there is one favorite genre, except to say I am most drawn to stories centering around women and that involve generations of families. That certainly plays out in my first novel, Forty Days.

I have a blog that tells more.
