How do you promote and move your work?
I let my work and my approach to work speak for me.
95% of my work has come from referral with little networking.
Mainly through word of mouth. My customers have been the greatest mouthpieces for my work; and a few particularly vocal clients have actually become part of my team and now get paid to bring in new clients.
We have a sales representative. Provide friendly, reliable service.
I post some of my work on YouTube and get contacted for gigs and projects, some in different continents. I have also a good network.
90% word of mouth. Good work gets passed around quite rapidly.
NETWORKING!! I'm always at group networking meetings here in my local town, and getting into social networking on the web. The online portfolio is key to have people check out your work to see if it's a great fit for their project.

I let others do that, I've never advertised yet have always remained busy.
Telling every body what I do, doing free work for my friends to promote my skills, having a blog spot ( will be working on my website this summer)

My most effective promotion method has been word of mouth through clients. Secondly, I think posting ads locally has been a great way for me to work with my community through sites like Craigslist.
