How do you promote and move your work?
At the moment, I'm going down the social media routes. Twitter has been a fantastic way for me to talk to self minded people and push the site out there. Linkedin is another.
I need to improve when promoting myself, that's for sure.
this is something I am still working on making better. So far just speaking to and contacting people who may be interested
Etsy, Twitter and FaceBook
in all the possible ways! social media, emails, my blog, my online portafolio, with my clients, etc.
Our clients promote it for us. They also recommend us to their friends, coworkers and fellow partners. If you look at our capabilities document, all of our clients stemmed from just three initial contacts.
It's amazing to see how being professional, personable and sincere can open up so many doors.
I take full advantage of social networking and word of mouth. Otherwise, I'm working on it. Still have not figured it out. Promoting my work is high on my list everyday.
Promotion of Lingerie is a little simplier than other types of art, as their is always a demand for girls in sexy Lingerie. We use our website, tradeshows, private events and stockists around the world.
Personal website seems to do the trick. I get most of my freelance work through word-of-mouth.

the best way I try doing is showing people what I do and network with different designers.
Most everything i do is on the web, but I have created advertisements that have appeared in newspapers and magazines.
Unfortunately with being a new start-up funding a bit tight at the moment, so i mainly rely on on-line marketing and word of mouth.
Mostly through the features in the books. But also word of mouth and my web site.
99% of our work is through word of mouth and referrals from our current customers. Our work speaks for itself in Hollywood.
