How do you promote and move your work?

Whohub

Blogging, Twitter, Facebook and an online knit and crochet community called Ravelry.com are my main sources of promotion for my self-published work. I also see a lot of website traffic whenever a new pattern is released for magazine publication.

Im the wrong one to ask... Don't seem to be very good at this. Just do good work that others respect. Contact people you look up to and never turn down a good opportunity.

usually my portfolio promotes my works. And, of course, it's positive feedbacks from my clients

There are various techniques for the web, such as Google Analystics, SEO, proper web standards. For design, email blasts based on new projects and word of mouth.

All through our site www.logochief.com

Facebook is an invaluable tool and I have received the highest amount of enquiries via my FB page. Simply uploading my pictures and updating regularly with new designs and news on the business has helped my page to grow.
I see competitions as being a good way of getting my name out there more as this Gold win has enabled me to do a local newspaper and radio interview, I have also been featured on food'n'drink's blog.
Word of mouth always speaks volumes so I always ensure my work is of the highest standard to ensure the reviews are always good.

Through networking with people.

I use twitter, Dribbble, and word of mouth

Adverts in magazines, website, exhibitions, twitter, facebook - now this!

Right now there's not much I can do because I'm still in highschoolbut I do have a porfolio of designs.

Creating a following is a lifetime effort. Gaining notoriety is the result of doing a lot of successful work, which then leads one to be invited to participate in the dreams of others. Like most designers, we are practitioners. But it is not just about creating a lot of designs, one has to share them, and inspire actions that elevate function to fine art. Today, one can be a virtual global brand.

Most of our work comes from client referrals or from our website. We do not advertise in the traditional media.

only by internet, don't forget i am only a student!

I don't, as it seems to do this, pretty much, on its own...
