How do you promote and move your work?
on the web, through personal one-on-one meetings, through my work, through word of mouth
I use Twitter, Facebook and my personal website.
Newsletter, blog, social networking, digital scrapbooking forums
I have my portfolio, Vimeo account, Twitter account, LinkedIn account... I really believe that Internet can help me promoting my work.
I also went to Laval Virtual in April 2011 and had the opportunity to talk about my work.

A lot is word of mouth, but when we're active, it's through writing. I'd like to speak more—presenting and public speaking are something I enjoy.
I've made the best of the internet, and social networking sites such as facebook and twitter have played a major role in promoting my work.
Usually I use online media, Behance, Deviantart, Facebook, Twitter, anything. In smaller community, I always like to involve myself in small organization which i believe carry the same idealism in design as I do. Doing a poster for events, t-shirt designs, and exchanging ideas with them are things that I usually do.
Hmm... I don't really. I've submitted a few projects to inspirational sites, as well as our company site. If and once it gets featured, it gets passed around and posted on a bunch of different sites and blogs. All of our business is from word of mouth. We haven't paid a single dollar for advertising.
I would have to say networking with people is the key the work will move it self .

Our home base is Holland. We are a Dutch company. We all studied design and since The Netherlands has a design reputation our products have become available throughout Europe. We post our design product on the net, trough social media for instance. We now get a lot of questions form the US and Sought America and are seeking representatives over there. |
