A very long time ago ... I don't enter competitions anymore.
not kind of awards, but for me, a pat on back and appriciation infront of all members and many people for work is something which need nothing more like trophies or awards, its more then anything which people remember in their minds n memories for long long time. Also we are giving a proof by giving them best reselt in our job by handing them over what they need from us, so they remember us as the one who understand them as what they need.
Never seeking any recognition my whole career, a few years back I decided to finally submit 5 pieces to the American Graphic Design Guild. 3 won awards.
Nope, but that hasn't really been my goal.
I received Web Design of the Year 2008 from O.C. Tanner.
Not. Yet. I aspire an Academy Award in best short animated feature within 3 years, seriously.
Yes, a design for a new logo in a County I lived in. Won third place.
No, but I'm still young - plenty of time for awards. I'm quite humble.
No, I have never allowed anything to be entered . . . have always preferred to remain anonymous.

Not Yet, it is so competitive. You will receive compliments of your work, but there is always someone that stands out more than you do. Instead of getting upset about it, keep your brain consistently learning new designs & trends. Eventually it will pay off. I look at it like it was probably not my time.
