What significant changes do you think Obama can bring about along his presidential term?
President Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his arms control efforts - he needs to earn his prize by continuing to work for peace. This means withdrawing US and NATO military forces from Afghanistan, working to agreed further treaties to reduce the number of nuclear weapons in the world, and encouraging Senate to ratify the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty to ban nuclear weapons testing.
The spread of humanity.
None whatsoever if the Tea Party continues to wield any power whatsoever, since their STATED priority is to oust Obama at any cost, and that means sacrificing the American people to their incomprehensible cause. Obama wants to do good things, knows how to do them and it attempting to get them done, and the Tea Party is filibustering, lying, cheating, doing everything it can to stop him... and, alas, it's working.
NONE. He is making this country worse. He made promises, and he quite frankly failed to deliver. There will be changes, but it isn't going to be anything positive.
I am in the UK so not as conversant with Obama - but like any politician, I totally believe that simply ensuring TRUTH - would significantly change absolutely everything
He already has and would do even more if the Republicans would stop blocking him.
More health care, equalising marriage, fairer tax system...but as an outsider, is hard to say much more.
From what I have read and heard not a great deal! He is a bloody wannabe Dictator who will destroy the United States. The man is pure evil!!
Barack Obama has introduced Americans how to achieve affordable health care, fair and equal compensation for women, less fearful ways to respond to individual acts of terrorism, and how to respond to ignorance and fear. If elected to a second term, Barack Obama will continue to introduce Americans to each other and the work everyone needs to do. This is a big powerful country and there is so much work to do.
Very little, as he hasn't tried very hard at anything other than this disastrous health care bill. I do not believe he is a capable leader. We would do better with a man like Allen West, Marco Rubio, or Bobby Jindal.
depends on if he can ever get rid of the right wing nub jobs in congress
None, if he continues to try and please everyone and keep balance. Which any politician would do in our four-year-term system. Focusing on re-election becomes so important basic policy change is left untouched, therefore no results occur.
I'm not an US citizen. But I think the president of the United States has a great national and international power in his hands and should use it for the good. |
