Make a prediction: how long will the fashion of piercing and tattoos last?
Piercing and Tattoos have been around for centuries. I don't see it going any where soon. If anthing it may become even more trendy.
Tattoos and piercings have been around since time began. It's not going away anytime soon, at least I hope it isn't! I love the art of expression through body art - tattooing and piercing, and have a few tattoos myself, actually 1/2 of my body, but whose counting?
Hopefully, for a long time. I'm all about empowering individuals to make personal decisions as it relates to their body.

haha honestly ? forever ..its came from history and hasnt gone yet so i doubt it will in the future ... piercing and tatooing is a thriving business too

Forever. They have been around for so long, and have a great great history, and this will continue. You may wear a purple sequinned feather headband, another may get a spider tattooed on their thigh... but you've both expressed yourself in a way you wanted.
As long as the heavily tattooed/pierced people are young, because as soon as these people begin to age and the novelty wears off, the younger generations will also lose interest. In the meantime, it brings a different perspective of art towards fashion.
Isn't it already dead? I perversely pride myself on having NO tattoos and only ear piercings (despite having been asked numerous times about when I'm going to get properly modded).
(p.s. I had my nose pierced for three weeks and it got this horrible infection and I took it out and it's all healed. Nobody was impressed by it.)
Oh, I think there will always be people who will want to be "unique" or "badass" or whatever the terminology is these days (haha) who will look to body art for inspiration and different looks. I don't really have any problems with piercings and tattoos--I actually find certain heavily tattooed guys or guys with piercings rather good-looking (depends on the man though). ;]
