Being surrounded by a different style can cause a person to feel different. Can such a feeling transform a person?
NO, everyone needs to express their own unique style.
I believe everyone should have a unique style.
I do agree, a different style can really make the difference. But then people must change their minds too.
Sure!! Style is just a vehicle for personal expression. The more confident a person feels and identifies with a style that will come through in how they carry themselves and intern how others perceive them.
yes
It can be motivation to improve, or it can squash the persons confidence and ability to "be themselves".
Absoultely. I think a lot of people get stuck in one style based on exposure. I remember when I move to NYC at 17 from Canada, talk about cultural shock. I was wearing pleated jeans and t shirts when I arrived and two weeks later had a nose ring and plastic pants. I had never seen such a free thinking enviroment - you could wear a plastic bag and no one would glance twice at you. I think that kind of freedom is amazing. To feel like you can evolve into any style without being judged for it is a great opportunity.
I dont think so cause a person is known by his traits and not by clothes .A person with a beautiful mind will look as much beautiful even if he is very cladly dressed.Dress only changes the outerlook of a person not the inner self.
Yes, think about when you are in the tropics, all of a sudden, its all wearing bathing suits and cover ups!
Sometimes, women focus to much on conformism. Looking different is not a bad thing. I see far too many women who wear sweatsuits and running shoes to the market because they are afraid of being different. It is sad. They need to have the confidence to realize that looking good, often means looking different.
Of course. Really great tailored suits definitely adds some boost to ones personalitiy
absolutely! It is very important to feel in step with the people around you. it is a vital component to acceptance and credibility. We can all identify a cowboy.
Absolutely, style is how we express our selves. You can tell if a person is happy or sad, how they view them selves in society, their confidence level...all based on what they are wearing. It's the whole reason for the existence of makeover shows. The story always is that the person didn't like their body and had less confidence..e.ct when they dressed "badly", then the beauty team comes in and changes their wardrobe and they love their body , feel confident and want to be more social all because of their new look which turns into a new outlook on life.
The only thing that can really transform anyone is an experience. I think everyone is influenced but transform is a bit extreme.
