What importance has professional training had on your career?

I would say 50%. Most is gained with experience.

Quite a bit because there are certain steps you have to take when creating a collection.

A lot! My professional training, firstly at Accademia di Costume e di Moda in Rome and then at Cercal, in San Mauro Pascoli determinded my career and my personality.

It has helped finely tune my innate talent and skills. It has helped me focus and direct styles that reflect not only my personal style but to that of the needs and desires of the costumer i am trying to reach.

MBA

My professional training has given me two major things: the technical skills I need to do what I do, and the ability to step back and really critique my work. My training has taught me to ask myself if I've accomplish what I set out to do. Its not so much about how much I like a project, but rather how effective it is.

It's been very important to help me unlearn bad habits, and to learn how to solve problems.

30%.

I assisted Kevyn Aucoin for over a year. He was the greatest. Even though my style of makeup artistry is much, much different from his, I took a lot from him. Mostly self confidence. I would see him shake in front of the most beautiful hollywood women - and he had been doing it for years. The greatest lesson he taught me was "don't be afraid to just get into a face, and always correct your mistakes".
And he was right.

every day i m learning & also working for well know brand in pakistan so this is my profession yet not training.

Professional training has given me a sense of accomplishment first off and quickly to follow is confidence in what I am doing at all times for any job. It also gives the client a confidence in me that I am capable of fulfilling their expectations as a designer.

The professional training was good, but its all the internships and assistant positions and always being naive to things that really made a differnce.

Without professional training, I wouldn't be a stylist! Continued training is very important as well! I was trained by the best and I am glad that I had that opportunity!

I have been training all my life through life experiences.

It's open doors for me connected me to a lot of people and new opportunities to help push my career forward
