Is there something you hate to see when you go to a restaurant as a customer?
I equate perfectionism with professionalism (thanks, Mom) so little details mean a lot to me. Typos on menus are a real pet peeve.
Overlooked appetizers really kill a meal.
Restaurants love serving appetizers to keep people busy while the meal is being cooked. But for the kitchen staff, these are "throwaway" dishes, not worth much time or effort. If customers are unhappy with the food before the entrée even shows up, it's really hard to win them over with anything less than a spectacular dish.
I hate to see food that has just been put down the production line. If you don't love making food, it shows in what you send out. You should be proud of every plate that gets sent out of the kitchen.
quite a lot i should say...
when the staff have poor customer service. doesn't know how to smile.
takes a long time to deliver the goods.
loud music.
Depends on the restaurant (I've been in great BBQ joints that could easily be called dirty) - but I always hate loud music.
shit service , no excuse and bad bread, nothing worse!!!!
Scaramuncles
Bad service.
Yes, when the staff seem to not have no passion for the very food they are serving.
Dirty linens and cloudy glassware
Dirty environment - I will walk out. And bad service. I was a waitress - I know what to expect at a minimum.
Poor and unattentive service
Dirty toilets
besides the food, its the service that im partly paying for.
