What is your educational philosophy?
"Learning German with a smile ..."
Repeat, repeat, repeat.
I could be cliched or come up with something really clever; but the best piece of advice I seem to remember and practice for myself is simple:
"Keep it simple & stupid" (K.I.S.S)
Everyone is capable of learning. It is up to the teacher to find a way to make it happen throw a genuine caring attitude and always remember to make it fun.
The etymology of the word eduation is Latin (educatio); it means to draw out. One cannot teach another person anything, if the other person is are not willing to learn.
Foster human and social development, based on the principle of respect for all cultures and of the reciprocity of their influences --the organizational structures must promote the interaction of all its elements (students, teachers and administrators) for the achievement of the pre-accorded objectives.
I believe that children are the leaders of the future and that the goal of American Education is to prepare tomorrow’s leaders, not followers. I firmly believe that in order to prepare them for a future that we cannot foresee, 21st century education has to become agile, mobile, yet relevant to the needs of an ever changing global economy.
Access to high quality education is a right not a privilege. A student should not be denied a high quality education due to socio-economic or demographic indicators. With new disruptive technologies, students now have opportunities to become productive citizens and global “thinkers”. I strongly believe that educational leaders must embrace the new paradigm of student-centered learning in which students are allowed to become part of the teaching-learning process. Connecting knowledge in ways that challenge students to reshape the world in which they live provides the catalyst for innovation and creativity – both of which are necessary for the workforce of tomorrow.
While standardization is a necessary evil, the methods in which formative and summative assessment are utilized should allow students more diversity in proving learning has occurred. Paper and pencil testing is archaic and does not mirror a knowledge economy in which information is gathered, processed and refined into solutions and new products. As an educational leader, I will champion for holistic 21st century assessment models that allow students to learn, fail, relearn and succeed. I envision a learning ecosystem that allows students to connect, create, innovate and shape their learning with the tools of the Knowledge Age. | | |
i prefer learning things on my own.. trying to do various things, committing mistakes, realising and rectifying and learning in the process. i also notice other's lives and try to avoid doing things that brought them their bad times.
Education should be the main force to help start thinking in rational manner & lead to 'out-of-the-box' thinking. It should liberalise mankind & society of rigidity & fanaticism.
That would require a very long answer. Go here to see it!

In short - it is to instill the hunger of something outside ourselves. To participate in mutual creation. A vocation not a career. It's all about helping to create happy individuals.
Be sincere and admit when you do not know the answer to something.
it's your own responsibility and learning by doing
I stronly believe in inclusion because we are a society and must been taught and teach how to leave without barriers. The fact that societies’ fights through human history were and continue to be concentrate in breaking barriers and gain parity treatment for all civilers, sustain my believe but since now the specials schools seems to be able to provide better support technically and practically , learning opportunities as well as care in all aspects. We have to go further to put the idea into practice and succeed one day to have those two systems into a working one.
Emphasis of the subject's value and worth, by this I mean the student and only second, the particular subject's CONTENT...
I hold that the human being is "expanded" within a culture when he studies a language. Is enriching this planet to understand how different human beings, and as the language is part of our habitat. |
