Do you have a ritual like retiring to a lonely place from time to time to cleanse your mind?

I have to interface with people to come up with ideas. I get my creative strength from the ideas generated in a conversation. It's how my creativity works. I can't do great creative if I am separated from the person who needs the idea.

No, I don't. I can pretty much write anywhere. And I have no problem cleansing my mind.

No. Cleansing my mind is about the only thing I advocate the use of sleep for. Nasty business, sleep.

Everywhere I am is a lonely place.

I have a studio where I work which is 'my space'. I use this for Mediumship, meditation and designing and making jewellery. All mundane paperwork etc. I do in my other office, this means that my Studio is purely a creative and Spiritual space which is cleansing in itself.

I look forward to my dreams at night. My mind is only cleansed for but a short time. I guess you can say I'm a pack rat of thoughts. Sometimes I feel like there is a giant library in the back of my mind, made up of miniature clones of me, filing and recording my thoughts, and dreams. It's actually quite a solid operation!

I make time to reflect. After returning from Japan, I follow a philsophy of "no time for a hurry." Our brain does not need to be in a hurry, we need to slow it down to reflect. Even if our clock insists on rushing us, we need to consciously take the time to slow it down despite the sense of urgency that the world places on us or we place on ourselves.
Reflection is an active process that we must make time for and creating and telling stories is another way to reflect and respond to the world. Find out more at www.kevincordi.com

Erm ritual/ body shuts itself down. I do occasionally make the effort to step away from whatever I'm currently working on, hoping to go back to it with a clear horizon for development, but I normally find myself prematurely going back to it and the cycle of working it till it breaks then starting on something new occurs.

The beach is positively my #1 source of mind cleansing. Toss me in the salty ocean waves and I will return energized. Lonely, I prefer to be not. I love having friends around me as much possible. Nature is important to me. I'm enjoy a night of camping or walking through a natural forest. All of the above are done preferably with a camera to share my experience. Exercise is also essential to maintaining a healthy & productive mind and my preference is to swim. When I had near access to a pool, I used to swim 2 hours every morning at 5:15AM before going to work to get the blood flowing.

I go running almost every day. That pretty much clears my mind and refreshes me. I also like long walks. Just being outside getting fresh air helps me.

outside!!!

yeah, i read the Bible - but it doesn't matter where

I like to walk and take photos. That always opens up what is not possible.
