Which well known entrepreneurs/enterprises do you admire? Why?
#1: Sam Calgione, founder of Dogfish Head Brewery here in Delaware. He built his company without losing sight of his personal values. He admits to being "off-centered" and not following the normal business plans, but he's super-successful, and has created a fantastic company. His employees love him, and he sells a fantastic product.

Rosalind Gardner she's very good a what she does Affiliate marketing. I also admire Travis Sago he's an inspirational guy also.
I have many hero's, but my favorite 3 are Henry Ford, Thomas Edison and Harvey Firestone. They never took no, or it can't be done, for an answer!
I have always admired the small business man in general. I remember when working for Verizon, and I called on small business owners. I was so impressed to hear their story and see their facility. I could see the pride that they had and I knew that, that was something that I wanted to do.
I admire Opray Winfrey (Harpo Productions) do to the fact of the longevity, and the fact that she has invested in different layers of her business (ex: magazine, other spin off shows, movies). In addition to being an woman in business, she has overcome many obstacles and never seem to let anyone stop her from doing what she does best...inform and reach out to all of America.

Osamu Suzuki of Suzuki Motors Corp. for his vision to grow his small car business outside Japan wherein there giants like Toyota, Honda etc were dominating the Japanese market
In the field of PMP certification training and consultancy, I admire Cornelius Fichtner, Michelle LaBrosse, and Oliver Lehmann. I believe that they have scaled great heights to be where they are now. I admire their grit and determination to reach the position where they currently stand.
Richard Branson (rebel with a cause and a risk-taker), Herb Kelleher (didn't know what or how, just knew he should and could), Matthew Corrin ayoung Canadian restauranteur who is building a global chain of healthy restaurants when everyone said he could not; Matthew and Jenn Flannery of Kiva.org, helpng make entrepreneurs through microfinancing around the world.
I admire Madam C.J. Walker. She was a widow, working mother and daughter of former slaves and still managed to become the first self-made millionaire woman in America with no hand outs. She proves that anyone, from anywhere at anytime can be successful. I admire Oprah because she came from nothing and leads her business based on spirtituality not money. I admire Martha Stewart because she has defined herself and her destiny rather than allowing herself to be defined by circumstances, people or the press.
Oprah Winfrey, Kimora Simmons and Mellody Hobson. These three women are phenomenal, resilient and fearless. They go after their dreams and let no obstacle stand in their way. It doesn't hurt that they are absolutely fabulous either! ;)
