Slow and steady
I have had twelve books published so far, but have retained the right to set the list prices of the books. Many writers seem to be unrealistic about their possible income, so my main focus is to offer many books (not just one, as with so many authors).
Offering twelve books -- with more titles likely in the future -- allows me to offer books at very competitive prices. I'm making my money based upon overall sales VOLUME (by making readers happy) rather than expecting to make a lot on any single book.
I'm about to offer .pdf editions of most of my books, giving buyers another option, and one that lets them get a book in seconds instead of waiting a week or so for delivery. This too is about making money off volume, and doing this by making things easy on my readers.
