Absolutely YES! Without Art, there is no life. People wouldn't have the proverbial pot to piss in without Art. After all, someone had to design the pot.

I think it is. I think even if not being a fan of the arts it still infuences everyday life. Even in the subtlest ways. Its all around us and makes up allot of the environtment we live in. from the buildings in the cities, the music on the radio to the car wash adds. Granted the adds are not my favorite but the art is still there. If you look back at adds from 50 years ago. They have an artistic quality to them. I'm certain they were not as appreciated in thier day as they are now.
