Is this question necessary?
Yes. No society has survived without a vibrant art component - it is as necessary as breathing.
Depends. If what one calls 'art' is destructive -either in content or reaction - in my book, NO WAY. I'm not into 'reactionary work', that uses destructive messages. Unless 'art' promotes positive result via beauty, harmony and unified form - it's not worth the effort. But, hey. That is my opinion. It would not be shared by many in the so-called, 'art community'. But that's why it's called, 'art'. Right?
Most definitely. Imagine a world without art. There would be no colour, no wheel, no interactions.
That might be the dumbest question I ever heard.
Without art you have no music, no color, no life.
You might as well be in a hole in the ground.
Human beings are spiritual beings - Art's function is to uplift, investigate, educate
No, Art is Not Necessary,
But, We Would Be in a Difficult World if There Were no Art and Only Design
Yes, definitely. Especially for children and youth. Art should not be taken out of the schools. If anything, it should be an every day acitivity in every school.....all the arts. We cannot just use our minds, we must use our souls and our creativity to share who we are with the world.
Of course art is necessary! What kind of world would we live in if there was no art? No beautiful, colorful drawings to look at, no inspiring music that comes out of the radio, no creative people that inspire you with their passionate and enthusiastic behavior? A world without art would be very sad, boring and certainly uninspired.
It, in my understanding, necessary for human survival and always has been.
It's a form of expression and humans need to express themselves in one way or another, music, writing, cooking, creating in any form is necessary. So is Art
It is for me! Without a creative outlet I'm sure I'd be in a padded cell about now. Art gives us so many things, and had the cavemen not painted on the walls, how would we know so much about the history of man?
