Is art necessary?
No.
Without out art there is no imaganation, no imaganation no childhood, children would newer lear to play, so all art is necessary.
Quite possibly, when confronted with authentic art, it is inherently
necessary - by virtue of what it is.
No, it can be fake and unnecessary too.
An Art peace should be reveal as it is exhibited
No, but all art is a part of the whole and together is necessary for a full picture of existance.
Art is very subjective, what I find to be in a piece of art to be necessary to my enjoyment may not be the same for the next person. So, all art is authentic at one point or another to different people at their time own time. It is definetly authentic to all artists, I believe, because they felt it necessary to paint, but that may not be the case for the person that is veiwing the piece. If a piece of art touches the Soul of ONE Mortal and changes him/her for the better then I yes, art is necessary.
NO
Necessary for what? Art is most unnecessary thing in the world. You cannot eat oil picture... and when you're hungry you have more important places to go than art gallery.
The question doesn't really make sense, but if I understand correctly. No.
no
what?
Is art ever really necassary?
I'd answer yes to this. I think the true artist NEEDS to paint regardless of how others view them. There's something which drives the painter to express his/her emotions on canvas, a want to show others something without the use of words. A need to cleanse themselves of the agony created within. It's a juxtaposition of emotions which arise at the same time. Look at Van Gogh's Starry Night. It'll explain everything. |
