Have you have suffered any serious injuries? How is morale maintained during recovery?
No such experience.
yes. morale is maintained after such injuries by looking forward and keeping a positive mindset. you are also gonna need a lot of courage.
never because i respect the medicals staf orders
Ive had a lot of small and medium injuries and some people may have called them big but you just stay focused and do what needs to be done if you want something and are driven all you will see this as is a set back and be rightfully enoid, weather its your fault or not.
Maybe a knock or a swallon foot once every season but not any serious injuries like a broken bones. Just to relax and not to do any physical activities until the recovery is complete.
I had a major knee injury that ended my golf career, that was hard because hockey was my life, and all I knew. I thought my life was over but my family & friends helped me through the tough time, they were & are very important to me. Now I'm currently dealing with tendinitis in my elbow, it's just a nagging injury I have to work through & realize it's ok to take a day off.
No I have been fortunate not to have had an injury that prevented me from competing.
yeah in my hips and in my knees. my morale decreased a little bit, but it came up after i started practicing again.
Yes I've blown out two ACL's and I am just recovering from surgery from my last. The gift is that is shows me how much being athletic is part of my make up. I make each recover better than the one before and as a result I come out even fitter.
When I was playing in midget level, I got hit and rolled my ankle I tore some muscles and was out for about two weeks and had to go to physio. When it happened he who had hit me was calling me a baby and to suck it up, meanwhile I couldn't even walk off the floor. I was so pissed
Not a single injury. I'm very lucky.
Several serious injuries over the years. Sometimes morale is the toughest thing to maintain. It can be the biggest challenge.
I haven't had very many serious injuries. I've had countless bruises and broken toes, and I've broken a few fingers and jammed them many times. But all I do is rest them and make them stronger. |
