I don't consider myself as fitting into any specific area.
no
Yes in an abstract way.
I don't know if it's possible for someone in my generation to not be postmodern. We are taught to question everything, find fault in everything, and then move on and do the best with what we're left with.
"Modern" used to mean "new". So does "post" "modern" mean "old"?
I have no choice about being "Contemporary". Those labels are for others to make.
Yes.
most of the times i consider myself first of all not from this time or this planet, a fish out of water, and have a real hard time breathing, adapting, to some i may be a postmodern freek, i don't care, when i try to fit in, and look in the mirror, i think i care ? the only thing i like about my work (that does not sell) is that it , like me does not fit in any "sterotype", descriptive title, it never even deserved the atention of any good criticism, as for the bad it came from people i don't admire, so i'm left with, i am what has no name, has no importance for now, a passing thing, like the wind i am invisible to those who see, and only the blind like my work, i don't even recognize myself most of the time, not in the photos, in the mirror, recorded voice or in the work i do, like a child who does something awful, always says, that's not me, i did not do that !!!....
I will not use any termnology to describe my work
I consider myself different
Time is new and always moving, it is contemporary when you are contemporary, Now is modern and even old thing connected with modern present, because of we are having so
much gene from ancestor to live with, so modern is become always post modern by switch on your gene. By visually post modern is something you never see before, but that's not enough, everyday is postmodern life and expression.
yes
No
Such art-historical terms as postmodern have little meaning for me. I see my subject and react. I feel that, as long as I paint honestly, I cannot help but be "modern" (meaning contemporary, relevant, of the hear and now.)
No, I am current.
