The Compact Oxford English Dictionary refers to postmodernism as "a style and concept in the arts characterized by distrust of theories and ideologies and by the drawing of attention to conventions."
I am self taught and therefore my methods of creating my paintings are not conventional, however my subject and style are conventional in the sense that I attempt to create a realistic representation. My paintings and scuptures to tend to challenge moder sensibilities, especially in regards to male nudity and sexuality.
