Do you consider yourself postmodern?
banana
I think of myself as a person who largely disapproves of the distorted values of today's society (a large amount of my works is dedicated to this disapproval); however, in the aspect of art, I do not consider myself a postmodern artist. In some ways, my art is quite conventional, albeit carrying unconventional messages.
Like "cutting edge"? I'd like to call Dreyrull and all of aershaa a unique world and concept, and creating graphical online communities is certainly a new art of the 21st century. It doesn't seem like the right term though.
I see myself as modern, because I exist and create in the here and now, regardless of what I create and the style I choose to create in. I know that it's not exactly an "art" way of looking at it but wouldn't post modern mean... like tomorrow? Like in the future or something? Post being afterwards and modern being, today? I don't know, postmodern is a stupid term.
No, I consider my self and my artistic work to be 'contemporain'
Probably.
I don't consider myself anything, as odd as that sounds.
In a formal way — yes. All contemporary art is postmodern. With no exceptions.
I dont classify myself to any trend,I am who I am my works are distinctive, they are reflect me.
No
i'm just being who i'am
not really
Whatever. Postmodern means nothing. It's the kind of thing that can be important for an historian or an art student in 2083 but not for a living artist. I'm a contemporary artist (with a lowercase "c" please).
No
Nope. |
