Which gives more satisfaction: to surpass a rival, or to surpass yourself?
i would say both. you cant always achieve both but whenever i get an opportunity to achieve any of them, i get satisfied
to surpass pyself i guess
Everything I do is selfish in a way I only work hard to surpass myself I would never work as hard for someone else the biggest motivation is self improvement for me.
Both I guess. To become better than myself is a huge achievement, To perform better than my rival is also a huge achievement. But to choose one that would give me satisfaction, it would be to surpass myself.
Both, to raise your own game is important, it is estimated that during this year: 2012, I will have scored one million maximum 180's, that is 3 times treble 20, one million times.
I love winning, but I would have to saying surpassing myself. There is nothing I can't do & when I reach a goal I know I'm not far away from breaking a new one I've set for myself.
No question it is about surpassing yourself.
first i surpassed myself, and now i'm surpassing my rivals. |
