How has your sport helped your personal growth?
It has given me a lot more confidence. I dont get nervous jumping infront of big crouds or speaking to people anymore.
I've had the chance to play in different countries, meet all kinds of people, it has helped mature me.
I have enjoyed the friendships made in the shooting sports and the discipline required to be successful.
It taught me how to be patient at the awkward moments, and to accept loss, also how to insist on achieving my goal, and how to organize my lifestyle.
Golf has helped my personal growth in so many ways. I have improved focus, determination and I have learned to adapt to new situations with a good attitude ( i.e a rough lie). It's also taught me tenacity and to laugh at myself.
I became a more patient person, I learned how to believe more in myself and that hard work pays off.
With sports you learn how to deal with people, you learn respect as well as focus. You gain confidence and make good friends I believe every kid should be in sports and raised an athlete. If it wasn't for lacrosse I wouldn't be who I am today
