Expression, wanting to be heard.
Volatility is not just a personality of artists.
I don't think they necessarily do - we just hear about the more flamboyant personalities.
Because they allow themselves too!
Do we? (she laughs manically!), yeah, Ok I'll hold my hand up to that one!
Something I do know, I generally have to paint every day and if I can't then I get very twitchy. If I have an enforced holiday (like the two weeks my family lock me out of the studio at christmas), then it's hell on earth and every body suffers and if painters block descends , well......
I think we basically live in a different dimension to non creative people (for better or worse!), bt it's nice in there, you should come and see!
they are not versatile
they are just sensitive and there from can have various behaviours according to the context they are in
You've got a lot of ideas couped up in your head and I know for me when I'm in the zone I don't like to be bothered. I can't speak for any one else, they'er on their own.
That question makes me really MAD!
Keep Life from getting dull.
Just a stereotype?
Because they have high blood pressure.
I can't speak for other artists on this matter. I guess, for myself, I have at times in my life been volatile, though not publicly. More so in my own creative process. Sometimes frustration with not being completely able to accomplish what it is I want in a particular work...something like that.
Because we don't live "here", we live in our minds and souls and see everything through our glasses.
Well, I suppose you have to ask them to get a proper answer.
I didn't know that they did.
most artist are drug addled, sex crazed, and suffer from ultra big egos. I'm two for three and the best I can explain it is that art evolved from a need to escape my own reality then I liked my own one I created, sex, drugs and crazy are the fuel I use to create my art.
