BUSINESS

What is the competition like? Have you have learned things from them?

Whohub

Yes and No, the good and the bad.

I don't have direct competition across the board, but I do have competition in the various services we offer. I try to emulate their successes and learn from their business model. I have watched the ways the court room reporters use technology in the court room and have adopted much of it. Its a constant learning process.

Competition is fierce and you have to thrive off of it. Talk to them and see what you can use/shouldn't use.

In the Las Vegas market we have great and fierce competition, that's why I love the market that deters many other. If you are not learning from your competitors..you're not doing business.

And those engaged in the same business, and much to learn from them.

My competition is professional and keen but we are good friends and we share nuggets of information regularly

Competition is growing as the Internet provides more of a level playing field than ever before. Yes, we have learned to remain proactive.

Our closest competition is murder mystery games but we are quite different from them so it's not a problem. You can learn from any business.

Sure I have learned from many, many companies and most especially my competition!

Well - We don't have any competitions in my business!

Good question, this may sound a bit wholistic, however, competition is healthy, and I do my best not to allow the competitive mindset come into play. I encourage my Team to think in a creative manner rather then a competitive manner. It makes a world of difference. There is more than enough for everyone. Competition creates unnecessary pressure and doubt. Creativity creates unlimited Possibilities.

Not going to divulge much on this question, however, competition in business is good for the customer.
I have learned things from my competition and they have learned things from me:)

I run business the same way I drive. Cautiously aggressive. I'm always looking ahead but every once in awhile you need to know what's behind you (your competition).

Fierce and yes I have learnt many things from them. I try to know them better than myself!

There is a lot of competition in the coffee machine and supplies business, but we feel that we hold our own and are able to offer more than some of our competitors. Like we always say - anyone can sell you a machine but can they offer you priority backup and servicing when you need it most?

We don't really pay much attention to our "competitors", but they sure pay attention to us!

Competition? There's a lot of company out there that got the same concept but our products is unbeatable just like what I said earlier if you find something that we got and compared apple to apple and if the one that you found is cheaper than ours the company will send you out to that vacation or trip for free.

%100

My competition is bigger than me. They have bigger - maybe better? - resources. They have teams; I have only me. Some would say this is an advantage but I see it as only an advantage rarely. Really!
