What types of promotion or advertising have you tried? Which have worked best?
We have tried most, but word of mouth is always best and what we strive for slow strong and steady growth.
Work because there is confidentiality, which is the largest advertising and promotions to get the results right to work.
I've tried adwords newspaper radio journals banner ads but best of all has been in house reputation building and word of mouth
We have a number of online marketing campaigns running, such as PPC & using Social Media.
With a minuscule budget and a new product to promote social media has been invaluable. Of course big budgets are always going to help sell and promote but if the product stand up, it will swallow the money and disappear.
We don't do traditional advertising, but invest heavily in social media marketing and inbound marketing campaigns.

We never do any promotion.
The best form of advertising or promotion you'll ever get is world of mouth referrals. Your network is key.
I use Google AdWords very effectively
I regularly do showcases - ie. speak for free
I Tweet - and get business from it
I get business through Linkedin
We are big on social networking and have a big presence on Facebook, Twitter and Pintrest. When people see us at events supporting Honda, they try the coffee, see the machines and that's really the best advertising we could ask for.
I haven't really advertised much I work this traveling club with a warm market which working with the people that I know because it's all about creating relation and trusting each other. So I would invite people to my travel party which I work with older people than myself and have more experice than myself so what I do is take the advise and kept it as my motivation to get me going because one day I'm going to on the stage and I want people to look at me and say I want to be that guy.
My clients are mainly word of mouth. However, I also have used AdWords as well as some online promotion on Facebook. Social media marketing is very important because if this is your expertise then it is a very low-cost (if not no-cost) way to advertise yourself. |
