What are the most recent changes being carried out in your business, and why?
We will shortly be integrating the SMS Smart Phone technology into our website display to engage shoppers on their level. QR codes are now being added to print material and signs so that Prospects who are passing by can not only collect my contact details but can instantly see the entire photo array that is available for that particular property. The Smart Phone upgrades will also map all the RE/MAX listings within a map grid right on your iPhone.
When we started, we were just a mobile RV repair company. As the business evolved, we expanded to RV parts sales. Today we sell products for marine, fishing, hunting, camping, car audio, home electronics, and outdoor clothing. We will soon be selling more household items like appliances, and soon we will be selling video games
We are trying to automate a lot of the mundane daily tasks, so we can spend our time actually providing both customers and consultants with a much better, more personalized and streamlined service. After all we are in the people business which means we try to treat people like, we ourselves, would like to be treated :-)
Adding a services page to my site to better explain what services are offered and to clarify our role in the social media and SEO space.
Trees By Post is currently working on a new website and extending the product range. We have good communications with our customers and get to know what their needs and requirements are.
Dealing mostly with government institutions and corporations, we are trying to incorporate the private buyer by redesigning our site to make it possible to sell online and even deliver to their places of work or residence
PDR Reviews- Personal Development, where the boss is listening much more to the wants and needs of his employees. You're only as good as the people who work for you, I believe.
Since we search for sppplicants in the social networks there is a lot of change going on in our business. The social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter are changing almost every day, implement new applications and tools. So we have to keep a close eye on this development constantly.
I'm in the business of change, really. Business strategist, social media manager, online marketing...all of these things are changing so fast it's nearly impossible to keep up. Seriously, by the time I finish this interview there's a very good chance that something I use on a daily basis in the social media world has changed. That's what business owners need though is someone to stay on top of this technology and change so they can focus on running their business.
Lost of foreclosures are on the rise (still) in Phoenix and Scottsdale. We are able to short sell homes that are upside down on value.
I'm constantly working to improve the look and feel of my blog. I recently updated my blog to have a better look and feel and so it was easier to navigate.
I'm also always working to provide the most valuable content I can to my readers. I'm in the process of developing a budget bootcamp http://thejennypincher.com/budget-bootcampcoming/ which will be a 16 week intense online personal finance course. Since I work alone, I can't get things done quite as fast as I want, but I'm working as quickly as I can!
The challenges of global competition, volatile commodity pricing (fuel) and volatile financial landscape (ie. USD foreign exchange rates and unstable banking systems) have made navigating our industry a pretty wild ride.
This upheaval in so many external factors at once have forced us to focus internally on our best strengths to carve out a "niche" where we are the go-to supplier.
a) We are moving to the latest technology by implementing a newer ERP system that will provide scalability for global expansion, but will also include new features that customers are demanding: web-based access to follow along maintenance progress remotely from another country, real-time project management dashboards to react immediately on projects and improve efficiencies (read: reduce costs) for our customers.
b) We are focusing on classic vintage aircraft, which we know better than anyone in the world, as our niche area of operations
c) We have developed financial diversification strategies that provide stable income streams and allow us, with this variety of customer base, to effectiveloy bid on a wide range of customer types, including private VIP corporate aircraft, large fleet passenger airlines and North American military contracts. | | |
We started improving our website's content. Every single page. We decided to make our texts interesting to read and really useful to our clients. I think we have pretty much succeeded with that goal.
Also we're trying to be more social, trying to tweet & blog really interesting stuff. And how interesting and useful this info really is it's only to our readers and followers to decide.
Currently, because we are a younger company, we are putting a lot of emphasis on sales and marketing. We took the time to find our voice, discover our niche, and get the services we wanted to do down to a science. Now we are ready to go!! Our goal is to be the #1 Website Translation Company in Cincinnati, and we want to work with businesses all over the world.
In addition, because we are so technically experienced, we have recruited and are proud to have some of the best translators in the business working under our roof. We can tackle difficult to translate subjects in manufacturing, biosciences, and aerospace. The more technical, the better!
We are expanding to meet the demand we are getting |
