What is art?
To me art is a celebration of color expressing an idea. To me the ability to let the observer experience and feel the movements in the painting and the message that comes from the artist to the observer.
Art, to me, is a creative visual expression.
It's an expression of your true self.
In my view art is nothing expect the expression of hidden restless attitudes….sentiments of artist. In other words, it is the mixture of truth, bitter and beauty, coming out from the internal soul of artist which they simply decorate it with the help of imagination
Creativity in form.
Art is the physical act of creating something with hopes of influencing and inspiring those around you.
ART is an idea, image or inspiration interpreted by the artist and conveyed creatively to the world!
art - for me, is something you do with your hands but it comes from inside you, heart, feeling, mind. something that involves a theraputic process and the final result of the creation has a special meaning to the artist.

Art is a very subjective matter. It depends on individual perspectives.

This is a question that needs a frame on it. I have heard it many times and it always sounds so raw.If you try to answer it, you end up with a blank look. Its almost the same as “What is God?” One thing that concerns me is, who cares? It is a question that is easier to turn away from than face. If you are one to turn away, it leaves you feeling disappointed and empty. If you face it, it will fill you. It takes courage to answer this question as every artist must. I am always working on this question and there are many interpertations. It;s like electricity; we know many ways of using it, but we do not really know what it is.
I must confess I do not know. But I am a practitioner of art so I am familiar with dealing with this universal question. In every approach towards art, there is passion, love and beauty. There is mystery and grace, honor and intelligence. There is pride, elegance and freedom of expression, power and thought. There is also craftmanship. Still you can have all that and still not have art. In doing the work you ask the question and when you finish it and it turns out well you get a pretty good answer.   | | |
