Art is something that takes your breath away.
Usually this is because it is beautiful to behold, but it can also be because it stirs up your emotions. It can be sad, or ugly, or shameful.
I have often considered making jewelry that is more shocking than it is beautiful. For now, I will continue to follow beauty, which is a much louder muse.
"Art is a three letter word."- William Burroughs
The question has no definitive answer its way to subjective. However for me personally its a visual expression of my creativity.
Art - fart
The art of life.
The word "art" has a broad meaning. Music is considered an art form, as well as drawing, writing, sculpting etc. All this can be done well, or not so well. For me, art is means for self expression. But along with this statement, I want to point out that no matter what you draw, write, or compose, it has to have a meaning.
Look at Cezanne,Matisse,DeKooning.
I know.
Art is what you make of it. To me there is no right or wrong way to do it or interpret it.
Art is everything, and everything is art. Simple as that. :)
That's simple. Art is expression. It's yous. That's all it is. It can be though dance, painting, music, but it's all the same, it's you and being that, it can do many things. Describe a feeling, tell a story, inspire others, and can maybe speak a poem. In any way, it says something and it amazes us. That's what I think art is.
I believe that art is something born within yourself that you feel a need to express outside yourself and share with others. It can take many forms but is a profound way to communicate your feelings and ideas.
Art is an expression of a persons soul. It's creating a variety of emotions, dreams, thought process's, everyone has their own interpretation of what art is to them. It's all unique, none of it right or wrong, just different!
Art is much like PsychoCybernetics. The creative process is an idea at infancy and then formulating a method in which to portray that creative thought or idea leads the way to the finished product - Art
Art is communication. Whatever genre we superficially assign to a work, whether Impressionist, Expressionist, Conceptual, Surreal, there exists between artist and observer some exchange of ideas or emotions, even if that response is negative, as in "This isn't art".
art is something you enjoy doing and its anything you want it to be |
