What is art?
a way to construct the knowledge this specie requires to survive
Visual Communication of ideas or emotions
Art to me is a communication mechanism which I can use to express feelings in a creative way.
Something that you look at and makes you feel good for looking at it, like a good piece of music, a good movie or a good book.
Depends on who you ask.
To some, it is a pleasant pastime. To others, it is lifesblood, soul's work. I am the latter.
Art is whatever the artist chooses to call art.
Enjoyment.
something that comforts me, brings me warmth, frees my soul, ends stress and makes me enter a whole new world ~_~
Art is the free expression of the mind,how one sets themselves aside from the normal,or restrained views of life. A way to expess our imagination,views,feelings and inner spirit and emotions.
There is no direct answer to 'what is Art.' Art is many things it can make someone feel emotional, or have an opinion, or pick out something they see. Art is something where not all people can sit down and agree on, as someone would say "another man's trash is another man's treasure". We all see things differently from Picasso's early realistic works to his abstract work, art does not have a direct definition.
That's for the viewer to decide.
I think art is an external personification of your inner self.
At its best, something that profoudly affects you on an emotional/intellectual level and has a high degree of timelessness in its worth and execution. It is most often visual or 'plastic' and stands on its own merits. It is not conceptualism.
Everything is art and art is everything. |
